I had an issue with not being able to remove the ignition key. Dropped it off at the dealer. (not where I bought it) and got a call to pick it up 3 hours later. They replace the shifter mechanism that puts it in park and allowed you to remove the key. In and out. No problems. Under warranty. tightened loose rear view mirror.

I recall that being a problem with the HHR when it came out in 2006. We owned one back then and they did the same thing (changed the shifter assembly) under warranty.

I had the same problem in my 2015. Park interlock switch or something like that. Once they replaced it, all was well.
