So an hour ago my sound system was working fine, now only the sub works, when i turn on my hu the speakers make a click noise, and when i change the power ic to on or off they make a similar noise, the sub is run off an amp the hu powers the speakers. Onstar works and sounds fine, through the speakers. So i am thinking its a problem with the head units built in amp.

taking off the face plate, none of that worked but now this morning
it works like it did before, any ideas?

hmmm... sounds like you have an audio ghost! lol

i bet it will do the same thing again, it sounds like an intermittent connection issue. could be speaker wires, something internal, who knows. i would still take it in and explain everything.

I dont wanna get the whole does it work now?
how many times has it happened?
well come back when its not working
Like they have told me before they will gladly take it in
to look at any of my concerns but this shop has a rule
bring it in at 9 and be prepared to wait till 9 that night
so i dont really ant to loose my truck for a day

yea, something is making an intermittent connection. do you have stock speakers or upgraded? perhaps they used some adapter plugs and they are loose?

but then it would be off left and right, not necessarily both at once.

i dunno my man, im out of ideas. just gotta suck it up and take it in i guess?
i hear ya, i hate not having my truck!

Well it cant be with the speakers because onstar always works, so it has to be a head unit problem or a connection problem with the wires plugging into the hu
