If your only wanting one woofer...that amp is too expensve for what you get.

If you only want a small amount of bass (8") get a amp that runs about 150-200 watts.

If you are determined to buy that amp and use a 10" woofer. Go with the JL AUDIO 10W3V3-4. It holds 300 watts RMS. This way you will be using most of the amps power.

my JL 10W3V3 will be here on Thursday and my box on Wednesday 8) , my amp is 280 RMS so it matches up very well . Sorry to hijack, back to topic

Got mine for a deal, I love the amp man, It sounds great and never clips, the volume just keeps going up, up, up! Highly recomended. Should have bought my system when it was up for sale, I had a perfect setup for this amp and woofer in a custom box for 250!!

Blue06Colorado- Those W3s are rated at 300 wrms aren't they? Was there a reason you went for the 1000/1 instead of the 500/1? Just asking cause you're gonna have a good bit of extra power with that amp.
