Hi gang,
I have a friend who does vinyl cutting and I thought I would shave the chrome nameplates and go to black vinyl as part of the bleeding of chrome off the truck (and the 0.001 L/100 km improvement in fuel economy from the reduced drag).
Well, seeing as the Chevrolet font is proprietary (but only subtly different than the nameplate fonts used by Honda, Kia, Dodge, Nissan and others), I decided to kick things up a notch or two and do something a bit more aggressive but still easy to read and the same overall dimensions.
So here, for your consideration, is what I've come up with... I've used the "Grand National" font to approximate the original Chevrolet font (it's pretty dang close) on top, and my design for the vinyl on the bottom.
