Found One! I’m in the Game!

Found a dealer with an AT4. It had all of the options I wanted, White, Leather, Tech, Prograde Trailer, Bose. It also has 20s, Sunroof and the Bed Liner, all thing I could have done without but beggars / choosers. It was an interesting deal that I’m sure I’ll touch on in another thread but I am astatic with the truck and the deal.

Congrats! Looks fantastic.

Let us know your thoughts on it...ride, handling, power...whatever you want to throw at us. lol

As for your "deal"...if it was anything under MSRP then I'd say you did quite well.
I take it that White is a high dollar option as other wise I do not think GM would put that on one of their trucks j/k

You asked!! LOL

I'm in paradise with this truck. The looks speak for themself but the ride and driving is SO NICE. I am coming from a 21 Ranger and while that is still great truck, OMG those brakes! The GMC stops so good and you don't have to press the pedal to the floor, the control is all up top. If you've ever driven a vehicle with a failing master cylinder, THAT is exactly how the Ranger feels and every day it was a little different. Some days they felt firm, some days, to the floor. A bleed would not correct it, it's part of Ford's design and how the booster and anti-lock system works.

The power delivery and shifting in the Canyon is so good! across the board. That Ranger had a 10 speed transmission and it made that engine feel so weak day to day driving as it wanted to push you to 9th or even 10th gear for efficiency immediately. To the point where it would bog down driving around town. It only showed it's real power when in sport mode or towing. Don't get me wrong, that Ecoboost was strong but how Ford controls it for day to day driving, not so good.

I love the interior, more comfortable and quieter than my Ranger and feels noticeably wider. My Ranger was an XLT and even though it was a fully optioned XLT, it had nowhere near the comfort of the Canyon. It's just at a level other manufacturers have not caught up to yet. Kind of like when Ram introduced their new truck in 2019, it was class leading by far.

I've never had ventilated seats. If you're building or shopping for one right now......do it!

It does truly drive like a Full Sized truck but whips around and fits like a mid-size, perfect!

I like the LKA (Lane Keep Assist), it doesn't whine or throw mad lights at you like a banshee, it just simply puts you back where you should be.

Sunroof, as I thought, a waste of money for me. I tried it, neat, now close that cover up to keep the cabin cool.

My only complaint is the mirror / body lines. Due to the body lines of this design, which are awesome! the mirrors don't make it past where you can see the wheel edge. All of the cameras make up for it I guess but I think they could have probably worked a little larger or more extended mirror into the design to make up for the width and body lines of the Canyon. However, form over function, LOL, I like those body lines and wouldn't trade them.

Other miscellaneous things. I won't complain about storage, I won't complain about bed size, I won't complain about the backseat room. It is a mid-sized truck. If you want your mid-size truck to have what a full-sizes truck has or tow what a full size truck tows.....buy a full size!

@KMPrengerMO $600 below. It is a far cry from yesterday-year deals but in this market, it is what it is. My Ranger was paid for so that made the difference worthy. I received $33k for the Ranger and paid $36.1k a little over 2 years ago. Not too shabby I thought.

I checked your sale out for the weekend holiday, nice!
A local dealer (Peruzzi - Fairless Hills, Pa) called me today saying they got the one in that I was initially awaiting on. It was not an order, just what I thought was a perfect build for me and they had me number on their list.

Anyways, it is there for anyone in the area who may be looking. It is just like mine minus the sunroof, 20s and Bedliner. Otherwise, equipped with all of the tech goodies and towing.
