eibach pro truck kit stage 1 question

I purchased the eibach pro truck kit stage 1 and a zone 1.5 body lift. I want to be able to get the most lift possible to fit 285/70/r17 with the least rubbing as possible. I do have new upper control arms and I was thinking of setting them to the 3rd perch up. Is that OK to do with upper control arms and only a 2wd truck or should I still set them to the reccomend 2.7?
