I'm considering going aftermarket speaker amp since I have a JL XD600/6 just laying around. From what I've read, the bose system only has a full range signal to the rear speakers for me to tap off of. If I use that signal through an LC2i to power all my speakers, seems to me that I'll lose chimes and Bluetooth calling, since those only come through the front speakers.
I was thinking, if chimes and calling come through the center speaker, I could just leave that alone, and be good to go. Otherwise, I'll have to re-think how to handle chimes and calling.
