Exactly as the title says. Went to go change out my Delco's for the Densos I have and #2 spark plug is stripped. Looks like its only a little off on the threads but last time someone touched the spark plugs was when I had my headgasket replaced because of the oil leak.

I cant get the Denso to line up right. Goes it very tight ...dont want to damage it anymore.

Obvously Im kinda screwed because it will be my word against theirs. They probably will say that i did it changing out plugs. And yes....I did this with the engine cold.

Im going to try to repair it myself using a tap tool that threads from the inside out. Will report back later.

I got lucky. A buddy of mine has one of those taps that you can rethread your sparkplug holes from the inside out. I managed to use it. It started on 2 or 3 good threads and I worked it up from there. Problem fixed....

I highly suggest that if you take your truck to a dealership and they work on the spark plugs to check them yourself when they are done.
