Has anyone done this tapped off the mirror? I'm currently running a 9500ix and a Mini 0806 off a cigarette lighter splitter...

Currently talking with Gen5diy on adding extra leads to Radar Detector Harness and adding something like https://www.amazon.com/Compact-Hardwire-Charger-Vehicle-Motorcycle/dp/B007O59Z7I. Just wanted to see if anyone else has already done this and how they hid all the wires, any problems, etc.

I need to figure this out too, but for a homelink garage door opener. I think I saw a post about wiring one at the mirror. Try a search for homelink and I will too. Also , seams like there would be a lot of room above the headliner for wires/ect.
