last year I had to fix this and it turned out to be the connector at the Solenoid, once again this year I had to fix this and found it was corroded this time in the engine compartment on the main connector placed on drivers side inner fender. I have included pictures of both. Hope this helps anyone searching for these possible corrosion sites on the Evap solenoid

Thanks for the info. P0449 is a relatively common DTC and sometimes the fix is difficult to track down.
