I didn't say I haven't found "nothing" just not much. I overlooked cobaltss.com because its not an ss but I just looked into it and think it will be pretty good. topix was down last night, and yourcobalt sucked, didn't see gmdelta. But thanks for the help.

I don't know how much info is on this site for the Cobalts, but the motor (the Ecotec) is basically the same as the car it replaced, the Cavalier. You can go to http://www.jbody.org and there is probably a section devoted to the Cobalt.

Expecting a Cobalt section on J-body is like expecting a Colorado section on an S-Series forum.

Aside from the motor, there's really nothing the same between the vehicles, including the architecture, the Cobalt isn't a J-body, its built on the delta platform (hence the gmdelta site referenced in a previous post).

Yeap, pretty much what Nick said. There is the same weird animosity that is between S-10 owners and Colorado owners as there is between Cobalt and Cavy owners.....don't really understand it.

Question for 2005-colorado: My girlfrienmds cobalt has issues starting every once in a while. The trend I notice is on cold mornings, she says the engine wont turn over and then a few minutes later it will start and then no problems until it gets cold outside again. When i say cold i mean like 35-40 degrees not negative million like up north. My guess is the battery is going bad, i think i read somewhere that the batteries in the cobalts were crap. What do you think?

Yeah I would check the battery. There have been other guys with similar issues and it has been that.

I'm pretty sure if it's under warranty still GM will replace it for free.

Yeah Rebel is a really good company but most of what they do is higher end performance stuff. But I have a couple smaller things from them, they are a good place to work with.
