Check engine codes means evaporative emission system high purge flow. There are several areas, but this is what I did.

Fix 1: Gas cap
Check gas cap and replace as needed.

Fix 2: Purge solenoid problem
Fix is about 30 mins.
Items needed:
Vapor Canister Purge valve Part # 12690512 or 12610560
10mm socket.

Remove electrical wire.
Squeeze fuel line to pop off.
10mm socket to remove bolt.
pull Purge valve solenoid
Reinstall backwards.

Completed on 2016 Canyon. I'm not sure if it's the same on the 2017+ Gen II's.

Thanks! I didn't know there was one already made. I had to source the item through the camero forums.

I recently replaced mine as well on 2016 Canyon. I never got a code for it, but the truck would be very hard to start after fueling. 22 dollars and 30 minutes later, I haven't had a problem since.
