Backup camera problems.

So I installed a tailgate light bar and spliced into the reverse wire on the tail light wireing harness for the reverse light on the light bar. Since then my backup camera would turn on everytime I hit the brake. Then it progressed to just staying on entirely. Locking me out of the radio functions other than volume up and down. I went through removed the splice and unplugged the taillight bar. The problem went away for about a day and has come back. I've checked every fuse,unhooked the battery to try reset the ecu and checked the connection ot the back up camera but nothi g has fixed the problem. What to yall think?
