I have a 2018 zr2 and when I get a text I need to press a button on the radio to display and then when I do that it doesn't show anyway. Is there a setting on the radio or my phone where the message just pops up without pressing a button?

you will not get the text displayed while the vehicle is in motion (at least thats how my 17 is). usually the notification will appear at the lower portion of the stereo which should have "listen, view, dismiss".

Mine will display them. Not automatically though. But while driving I can pull up my inbox and it will display texts.

2015 will not display while in motion but will read them to you.
