I would suggest gears if you can swing it at that tire size. My old Jeep with 35’s and a factory V8 is set up with 4.56 gears and she can still do 80 on the freeway but has no problem lighting up the Baja Claws. I know there are gears for our trucks- do a Google search and it will pop you back to this site.
Any Gear Kits for a 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2?
Are there any gear kits to regear a 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2 if I choose to go with 35 or 37" tires? 35s I might be able to get away with 4.10, but for 37s I would need a regear for sure, right?

Nitro gears makes 4.10 and 4.56 for our trucks. I have the diesel and will be going 4.10 when I move up to 35s. 33s are fine without regearing.
Also understand you will have to do a significant fender chop to fit anything over 33s. Lots of info on it here and in YouTube. AEV also has their highmark flares that provide a straightforward kit with templates, etc.
