I am planning on doing a 2 inch lift (TB and Shackles) I read something about an
alignment being needed what does this mean?
also, will the tb need to be re adjusted more than once,
or will it keep its height right after the first adjustment?

That is referring to a front end alignment. As the wheels are lowered in their travel the alignment geometry is changed. You need to take it to a shop and have the alignmnet done. On these trucks they will only be able to do a toe in adjustment without ordering the camber kit. The camber is what is thrown off by raising it, so that is what you really need. It won't be the generic $60 alignment special. It'll probably be more like $150, parts and labor. Note that most shops will take your money and do the toe in (5 minutes labor and zero parts) and never tell you about the camber.

Well, I never say never, but an alignment camber kit was needed for me and cost a bit more. The discount shops don't generally know or do this.

Mine didnt need one and I got my alignment for $75. I have heard some people say they needed the kit and i know they had to knock out the knock-outs to do mine the first time.
