Couple things, this would not be a Z71 due to the "4x4" sticker in the rear and the bright chrome wheels. I would say this was an LT. They also seem to have (if this is an accurate pic) shaved down the airdam in the middle under the grill. Interesting... Kind of a 'meet us half way' there... I don't mind this look, looks more like a Silverado to me than before....

I would say that it is most likely an LT.
No where does it say Z71. Usually any model that is a Z71 has some sort of badging of a minimum of 3 sides.
But looks like they gave a nice Face Lift.

Yes, it’s clearly an LT extended cab. Main thing is that it’s (as far as I can tell) the first real picture I can find of the updated front. It will be interesting if they do anything differently for the z71 do further differentiate it from the lower trims like they did with the Tahoe. Given what happened with the At4, I am not anticipating much. This particular picture does shown it with projectors and not reflectors, so in that sense it’s closer to most current z71s.

Outside of the obvious fact that the fog lights and grille are completely different, I also noted the middle air dam trim. On top of that and probably one of the most subtle yet needed design changes is the fact that the painted bumper portions right where it meets the air dam is straighter. Currently ours curves down as it meets the black plastic around the tow hooks. I think this is one of the main reasons people find the truck looks odd without an air dam and something I hoped they would change.

One of these production years they will just get rid of the damn thing.... (no pun intended). :)
I like the looks of it. The trimmed air dam is a definite improvement as well.

Chevrolet has nixed the Colorado Base trim from its mid-size pickup's lineup, effectively raising the truck's price for 2021. How? With the base $22,395 Colorado out, the Chevy's price of entry now starts at $26,395—the cost of a Colorado Work Truck, which is now the least-expensive Colorado model available. That marks a price increase of about $4,000, as first reported by research analysts at CarsDirect.com and confirmed to us by Chevrolet.
Sources tell us that the the sales penetration of the Colorado Base model was quite low, and the Work Truck's additional standard and available features make for a more compelling and still value-packed offering. As with the now-defunct Base truck, the 2021 Colorado Work Truck comes in extended-cab form with a 200-hp 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine and rear-wheel drive. Chevy is raising the WT's price by $500 relative to this year's model, too.
Chevrolet spokesperson Chris Bonelli tells us "We believe Colorado will remain very competitively priced in the mid-size truck segment and will see continued strong sales fueled by its fresh new look. " For 2021, the midsize Colorado pickup receives a more aggressive look for its WT, LT, and Z71 trims that includes an updated front mug with a new layout, logos, skid plate, and new tailgate.

A similar dropping of the entry level Canyon I understand also. They had already dropped the manual transmission for 2020.

Another plus is that the new air dam will take up slightly less room on the garage floor when people remove it.

When you order the Luxury Pkg on the LT, it bumps you up to projectors, leather interior, a bunch of chrome, convenience pkg items, and the price tag getting punted north of a standard Z71 with similar driveltrain pricing.

As I recall, that used to be the only way to get leather at all, since the Z71s have that graphite Cordura-esque center panels, I don't know if it still is.

Yessir.
They found they had enough demand, that beginning with the 19 MY, they made a black leather option available for the Z71.
Other than the slightly less invasive airdam design, I don't see anything I really care for. Definitely prefer my '19.

The lower chrome tow hook guard/bumper is curious. Not really digging it personally, but never been a big chrome guy to begin with. I wonder if this front setup is equivalent to the all chrome grilles currently offered on prior years seeing as it’s a lot of chrome but still keeps a lot of black accenting.

So far I am liking the new look, but still getting a feel for it. Glad it’s not so polarizing as the new Silverados (at least I don’t feel that it is). It’s fresh without going overboard.
I had this story about the "new appearance packages" pop up in my feed this morning:
Musclecars and Trucks Story

I had been distressed because the bright silver wheels are now standard, but now it appears that the old wheels will be available, if you're willing to tinker with the order guide.

I also found another guide this morning that shows the WT will have a "Doe Tan" color option, and two others that the Z71 and ZR2 won't get... something I hadn't spotted on the GM order guide.

I saw a picture of the Tan Colorado last week, would be torn between it and my Deep Wood Green on my ZR2,
I think the aftermarket companies pay the manufacturers to not put black wheels on trucks as standard equipement.
With the caveat that this ain't final till the last 2021 truck comes off the assembly line, here are the colors listed for 2021 Colorado, if this link works correctly.

I assume Sand Dune Metallic is the Doe Tan you guys are speaking of. It says not available on the WT or LT. Also, I looked at the Distribution Update Notes that are linked to from the MODEL HOME page, and it does mention a black wheel option.
No - the Doeskin Tan is actually a separate color entirely. I didn't find the page I first saw it on, but this is from Cars.com To me it looks MORE like the tan on the ZR2 that's been shown.
