Not sure what you're talking about. Except for Consumer Reports the twins have done fairly well in recent comparison testing by magazines. CR is about the only entity that doesn't like the twins--but if GM raised the prices on them by $20,000 CR would love them.

CG just consolidates reviews from various sources and does not review themselves.
CR just mostly sucks and uses surveys from subscribers with their 'specialists' opinion thrown in but there aren't many good reviews for the GM twins from any source anymore. they had their day when they 1st came out in 15 and 16.

Consumer Reports gave the 21 Canyon and Colorado a 28 but they gave the Jeep Gladiator a 99 🧐🤔 if you've driven both it's obvious Jeep gave them some endorsement.

Not sure what numbers those are referring to (I see a 44 and 65), but I just noticed they gave the 2020 a 5/5 for reliability, which is way up from prior years--the years with the transmission shudder--including part of 2019. In the lows they say the 3.6 has low torque??? They claim it's the highest mileage midsize, but it only gets a 2/5 for fuel economy???? For 2020 they don't mention the diesel as a high, but they mention diesel twice in the highs for 2019????

This was in the reliability category, I'd agree the 3.6 has low torque because I have to get the truck in to mid range RPM's to get some real acceleration.
