Front air dam is removed. Took about 45 minutes. Removed it and swapped orientation on two screws so they go up instead of down.
Hey, quick question. Any particular reason you removed the front air dam, or just how it looks? Do you know if that would mess with the fog lights if I were to do the same to mine? I just got a 2019 Colorado (got the coronavirus deal) and trying to educate myself on it and make some upgrades if I can, want to start small though because I don't really know what I am doing. Thanks!

Look forward to it. BTW: I gonna steal your list if mods so I can do them on my Colorado, seems like a good place to start. Any suggestions or ideas would be helpful as this is all pretty new to me.

Thanks!

Well here we are! Today was tires and level!!! I was so excited I didn't take any pics while installing, but have a before and after, and some nice afters on a little trail by the house.

And just FYI for anyone who watches a video of a level install, follow it!! Strut will come out without disconnecting tierod and control arm, but WILL NOT go back in!

Also showing the trimming I did on the waffle. No rubbing front or back. Will have caster adjusted slightly to give more clearance on the back however.

Also wanted to mention that the lean spacer on the front brought it level to within 1/8 of an inch side to side.

37 LF 37 1/8 RF and 36 1/2 LR and 36 5/8 RR.

Today was blackout window trim day! Pretty easy to do with a can of denatured alcohol, and plastidip. Took them off, cleaned them, sprayed then, and put them back on. Hardest part was letting them dry. LOL

Was a good weekend! Got my grill put on, my rear badge blacked out and redid my window molding. Couple questions. Removing emblems. What are some of your methods to make it easy? What products do you recommend for adhesive removal? What products do you use to keep the black trim black?

20 lb fishing line doubled over and use a “flossing” technique. A little heat from a hair dryer if it’s being tough. And Goo-Gone is your friend. I’ve heard great things about the 3M adhesive remover wheel, but I’ve never used one.

Edit: if you’re putting different emblems back on be sure to clean off the excess Goo-Gone!

FInally got my lean spacer (leaf spring shim) and RC 1.25 body lift on today. Took about 3.5 hours for us from start to finish including the lean spacer. Didn't get great pictures but here are some. You can see it compared to my dads 77 square body in the first pic.
