Truck in the past has a history of revving itself and dropping down, sputter and reving it self a few times over then runs perfectly. Today it started doing that constantly and fighing me to stop (Having to put extra pressure on the brake) Then the thermostat dropped to zero. It does this several times while driving.

Then when you stop and put in park it jumps and falls until it kills it self. Will not start without being fed gas, or you have wait 10 minutes and it pretends nothing is wrong.

Any Suggestions?

Usually cleaning the throttle body fixes issues on these trucks. Yours sounds a little extreme so you might have to replace it. Also check for vacuum leaks, this can cause idle problems too.

Also, search for how to clean the 'ground packs' on these 1st gen trucks too. It's a very common problem.
