2005 GMC Canyon lift question

I own a 2005 GMC Canyon and I can’t really afford a full suspension lift at the moment, if I use coil spring spacers and a rear lift shackle would a 3 inch spacer in front and a 2 inch shackle lift & level the truck or would I still have some rake??

2wd or 4wd?

I take it 2wd eventhough the 2wd could have torsion bars or coils in 2005

FYI A 6inch shackle in the back will raise the truck 3 inches, an 8inch will raise it 4 inches...

as to raising with a coil spacer, it will draw the tires way in and max out your suspsension travel and put the ball joints and steerinng knuckle in a bind.

the best way is with a pinion extender, keep suspension pretty stock but raise the whole truck including the suspension
it cost more but cry once and do it right the first time.

check out SuspensionMaxx web site, they have a couple options and you can check on the installation of them to see if you can handle the install..

Thank you! I really appreciate it! I saw some people posting about a 3 inch spindle lift, would that basically do the same thing? Sorry for the questions, kinda new to this whole scene.
yes it would, you may want to go to www.355nation.net, thoseguys are experts on the 2004-2012 trucks

Thanks again for your help, much appreciated!
Also, depending on the condition of your under-body (wear/rust), get ready w/ the penetrating oil, hammers and punches. My 2006 was super clean, but still had issues w/ those pesky suspension bolts. They can be a bear to remove...torching/heat might be in order too...
