I have the RC 2 inch level spacers and the ride quality is the same. Just get an a alignment after installation of course. I also added the RC 1.25 inch body lift months after and ride quality is the same, not noticable difference.
Same. I had the 1in spacer and 1in preload spacer on my truck for roughly 45k miles. No perceived difference in ride quality. Don't forget the alignment. I ended up swapping to the 2in longer rough country struts and shocks when my stock shocks died. I've got 20k miles on the new setup and it rides like stock.I have the RC 2 inch level spacers and the ride quality is the same. Just get an a alignment after installation of course. it will ride like stock. All you will need is an alignment.I already have the 1" top hat spacer installed but there is still more rake than I'd like. I bought the RC pre-load spacers ($10) that would give me an additional inch but I have concerns about changing the ride quality. So my questions are:
1. Can anyone with the RC 2" leveling kit comment on how much the pre-load spacers stiffened up your suspension? I really like the factory feel. The 1" didn't change it that but I fear the pre-load spacers would.
2. If I decide to skip the RC pre-load spacers and swap out my 1" spacer for a 2" top hat spacer, I assume the ride quality would remain the same? Do I need to make any other changes for a 2" top spacer?
3. The Supreme Suspensions 2" spacer has some bad reviews regarding the need to tack weld the bolts to prevent them from spinning during installation. Would JB Weld or Red Loctite be sufficient?
As always, thanks for the help!
