History
Wanted a first gen Trooper since I was 4 years old, between then and now my dad has had 4 different ones. Found a rust free one 400kms away from home (one way) that wasnt running, had to drag it through BCs mountain passes, and it fought tooth and nail to come home with me. Replaced factory carb with a Weber and drove it daily while modding (lift, bumpers etc)
Apparently doing 500 highway kilometers at 3000 rpm every week for a year was too much for that old worn out 2.3L cause it started burning a liter of oil every 100 kms and (despite prevention efforts) burnt a couple valves, which is when I benched it and drove my 1989 Jag for a couple months.
Not wanting to mile out my Jag, I started looking at the new Colorados.....

Nothing ATM! Have an Isuzu 4ZE1 on the engine stand getting new rings, bearings, seals. Will be transferring the "Jerry Cam" from my near dead 4ZD1 along with the Weber 32/36 Carb

Custom rear bumper, Custom front bumper in the works, Custom roof basket, Lower portion of body painted in rocker guard, painting whole truck on rocker guard in the works...
