TT Quattro Coupe
Bought used in 2010. Replaced the alternator. The passenger side HiID low beam headlight works when it's feels like. Replaced the bulb and the ballast, but it still worked only when I held my tongue just right. Replaced the battery last year. Haven't had any headlight issues lately. The scariest issue was the brakes going out. Apparently the brake booster takes a vacuum signal from the turbo. There is solid tube and hose assembly that is part of the turbo/brake booster system. When it leaks, you have no brakes and reduced turbo boost. Crazy!

At some point a previous owner replace the factory stereo and In doing so, utterly butchered the wiring harness. I had stereo shop replace the off brand POS radio with a pioneer head unit. They pieced together a wiring harness, but now I can't get the car inspected in my county as the the inspectors computer can't read the OBD signal. Luckily, I work in a county that doesn't have to Run the pollution check.
