Our suspension setup is pretty similar, yeah. My details are:

Eibach pro kit @ 2.7"
1.5" Zone body lift
17x8.5 +0 offset XD135 Grenade Off-Road
285/70r17 BFG KO2

Your lift definitely looks good and beefing up the tires will look even better! I think you should be able to fit the 275/55r20 or 275/60r20. I'm guessing you'll need to do most/all of the following:

- Go to a wheel with less positive offset, but you probably already know that since you're running spacers already.
- The stocks are +33 offset. I think @F8LZ71 has zeroed in on +18 to push the wheel out enough to clear the frame at full lock but not so far as to cause significant trouble with fender rubbing.
- I love my 0 offset for the poke, but I had to do more significant trimming of the pinch weld and rear wheel well trim area to clear them. It was pretty easy, but not everyone is willing to make this mod. Details of what I did are in this post.
- Regardless of which offset you choose, you'll likely have to do *some* pinch weld trimming. My initial trim was to just to cut the corner off the front edge of the pinch weld. That got really close to fully clearing, so if you go with +18, that might be enough.

- Install sway bar relocation brackets. This moves the sway bar forward an inch or so (and drops it slightly - 0.25-0.5") to keep the wider tires from rubbing the sway bar.

- Install longer sway bar end links. After the lift and sway bar relo, the angles are off a fair amount. Longer end links will straighten them back up.
- the sway bar relo and end links are both relatively cheap and easy (compared to new wheels and tires), so I'd just do them both for good measure.

- Trim the front waffle plastic behind the fender liner in the front of the wheel well
- This is a super common mod for larger tires, and there are tons of threads and pics on doing this. Details of what I did are in this post.

Hope this helps!

thanks bro. I actually got 275/55/20 now, cant believe a 275/60 is a inch taller which I'm think about doing along with probably 20x9 +0 offset. I pretty much did every mod u listed besides the longer endlink which I'll most likely do sometime soon. The wheel setup will probably be the last thing I do on this truck since I'm not too amazed on the styles available, I tend to get picky on what shoes I use on my toys. For example, I only owned this truck for about 6 months and these denali's is actually the 3rd wheel setup.

Just a little update on the new DV8 887 wheels.

I'm still getting the occassional rub at something near full lock but I don't think it's hitting the frame. I'm going to paint the frame again and keep and eye on it but I think I'm rubbing the fender liner omewhere from the way it sounds. Everything was fine for a week or so with zero rub but I wonder if my alignment is tweaked with all the snow wheeling I've been doing. The steering feels twitchy at high speeds too.

Despite whatever is going on with my alignment I'm very happy with the wheels. I haven't noticed and feeling of power loss despite their weight and they ride smooth on and off-road. I drive pretty rough when trying to make it through large puddles or dips on the trail when there is a goid chance of getting stuck. The front end dives into the hole then springs back up pointing at the sky when exiting and there isn't a hint of rub or other weird noise. I'm pretty impressed with how the Eibach Pro Kit shocks/springs are handling the abuse too!

I think the magic offset number for a 285/70/17 is around +12 to +15 depending on your specific tire, wheel width, lift type/height and alignment specs. For narrower tires the +18 to +23 offset is good for reducing the chance of rub.

DV8 887 17x9 +20mm offset, 32lbs $139/ea

Filmed before I added the new wheels but this is the kind of fun we have when snow wheeling when someone got there first and made deep ruts. It's hard on your suspension and wheels changing direction so abruptly when you bang off the hard rut edges. :)

so what size did you end up with?

yes i cant wait,,hopefully will install shocks in the next couple of weeks then have wheels and tires installed after i do the suspension.
Yea these were the only rims that i could find with the payload over 3000lbs,,all the other rims were way under, seeing as i do alot of towing.I didnt want any issues.

Thanks for the pics of yours,,went with these as i liked them on yours. will post pics when all installed.

Get a couple of really nice shots and send them to DV8 and 589Fab so they can add it to the website. All they currently have are photos of my truck with the bronze wheels.
