Notice a shake on stop light

I have notice couple of times that when the trucks is at a stop, it shakes. I feel it's coming from the engine. any ideas?

Best thing to do is to have a code scanner with "real time" data hooked up so you can see what happens when the shake occurs.

thanks,
How many miles? I would start with a good throttle body cleaning.

As for as the air filter, not likely, just check it and replace if it needs it.

You didn't say how many miles you have on the truck, but I would start by running a bottle of Techron Concentrate Plus Fuel System Cleaner (Not the fuel injector cleaner, which doesn't work as well) and see if that helps. If you're approaching 100k miles then start looking at replacing the spark plugs.

I have a 2019 with a LGZ, your 2015 has an LFX. BUT, I noticed mine was doing something similar at stop lights. I started using premium fuel (91) and my truck seems to like that much more and runs smoother. May not be your issue given these are two different engines but it may be something to try.

I remember reading as well that the LFX engine does like premium fuel and other owners seem to be happy with the results.

Being that it's a 2015 with only 37k miles you still have the powertrain warranty. If it happens frequently enough for you to take a tech on a drive to show them then it would be good to have them diagnose it as it could be something with the torque converter or similar and covered under warranty. I wouldn't start throwing things at the problem trying to find one that sticks before you see if the dealer will take care of it under warranty.

Mine was idling real rough sometimes when coming to a stop. One time even stalled. Found out it had a TSB about it at the dealer and to apply a fix to the PCM that raises the idle RPM a little bit and other things. Ever since I had that applied, have had no issues. I don't know the TSB number. But might be worth looking at.

My 2016 Colorado WT with 2.5L I4 does the same thing. When I am stopped at a light or stop sign, the RPMs drop at idle like it is going to stall. If I put it in neutral the RPMs come back up and it smooths out.

I had this problem with my 2016 2.5, although is was more of a vibrating then shaking and only at stops. Took it to the dealer and he noticed it also but couldn't find the problem. They finally called GM and found out there was a service reminder for this exact problem. A hour long reprogramming and problem solved.
