well I don't have a cover on my bed....HOWEVER, its still a "thing" to have tailgates stolen, as its so easy to remove them....but having it locked at the push of a button every time I lock my doors. it seemed like a no brainer mod.

a while back, I decided to get a REAL spare tire, not a stealie with a temp use only tire. So I found and bought a Take-off wheel and bought a matching tire.

Got my copy of the Helms manual for 2018 in the mail today. It is copy protected (I wanted to copy it to a hard drive so I wouldn't have to use the thumb), but I may be able to work around that. The total page count, if I wanted to make a hard copy: 8,048 - without covers!

Does it fit in the OEM spare tire location? Any issues?

Installed GM skid plates.

Redid my strut rails with stainless hardware. Added tie down rings to the rails with not stainless hardware. And painted over all the bolts.

Also my XBull traction boards arrived, but I'll have to get hardware to mount them to the rails.

The rails look great! I was trying to decide if I wanted to paint the bolts or not. After seeing yours I'm going to paint them.

I had originally painted everything before installing it before I switched to stainless bolts, but Rust-Oleum doesn't hold up I guess. The original bolts and washers were all torn up.

Slow shipping, even though I'm Canada's neighbor. Thanks customs. The safety of these States United was maintained by your sitting on some nylon straps for a week.

Neither does spray bedliner. I'll paint the bolt heads with a brush once everything is tight.

Installed Rokblokz. Most expensive mud flaps I've ever gotten. They do look good, coverage appears real good and the mounting system is ingenious.

They look nice! Do they wrap or touch the paint of the truck at all? Or are they essentially flat against the back of the wheel well. I’m looking for something that doesn’t wrap and sit against the paint.

Finished up the DIY utility rails on the bed wall. It worked out really well once I had everything figured out and bought the tools needed to complete the install.

Finished product.

16x8 Method 701 bronze wheels installed last week. I like the different look. These wheels also come in black for those interested.
