Did I say rain dance? Must have forgot where I lived for a moment.

Put some brand new All Terrain take off tire and wheels, pulled off the side steps and added the ZR2 rock sliders and put on my Extang Encore bed cover.

Got my truck back after getting the windows tinted, clear bra and ceramic coated, had a few things I needed to do. Radar Detector and mirror tap done today. I have always mounted my detector just below the mirror, and did or had done a mirror tap so that there were no wires hanging down.

as far as I'm concerned the BLENDMOUNT is the way to go.

but as far as getting the power to the Detector goes, the easiest and even cheaper way to go is GEN5DIY's P-N-P harness. it was so easy and took all the guess work as to which wires to tap into.

and here is mine installed.

Installed Rough Country nerf steps. UPS tried their best to beat them up. Finish looks good, hardware is decent. Like the look a lot. We'll see how they hold up.

My local truck shop installed this exhaust tip. The fitting was fine over the stock but it stuck out so I had them trim down the exhaust pipe and then mount it (with just a weld tack for extra security).
With the gibson SFT muffler, it has a nice deep throaty sound now.

gotta say the ZR2 sliders look better on a long bed then I thought they were going to. I was looking at custom sliders eventually but the ZR2s could possibly be a cheaper option.

Finally put my spare back on its mount under the truck.

Also picked up a set of Cadillac SRX wheels, 20x8 ET53. I'm guessing I'm going to need to run a 20mm spacer to make up for the offset, but I'm not that concerned. Paid $300 for the set, three of them are mint, one has a rock chip.

Will need tires by summer, so figure I get them sooner than that, attempt to sell the stock Z71 wheels, and get going lowering my truck with the Belltech kit.

When mine arrived, the box was in good shape, but there was a scuff on the drivers side door bar. In the event you need to do any touching up in the future, this is the paint Rough Country said to use: Rust-Oleum 7220830 Textured spray.

I was a little surprised that the ends were not capped. Once it warms up a bit, I'm planning on rinsing the insides thoroughly, letting them dry and then spraying some great stuff into the ends. I'll shave off the extra and spray the above mentioned paint on it.

Keeley is also a border collie mix mutt rescue. Mother is still around (fostered rescue) and is nearly full border collie, but dad is a mystery. Anyway, cool dogs :)
