Plus I need to raise the winch up on spacer blocks to clear the sides of the winch tray and get longer mounting bolts.

Also added a pair of Rigid Side Shooter Pros on CBI mounts that I shot with bed liner. I have always been impressed with Rigids and these are no exception. Love the side spill they have. Will be super useful on the trail. Of course I finished up the install at 11 at night so the pics look like crap, but oh well.

Slowly she's coming along....

I'd need a closer daylight shot, but I think your Rigid brackets are on "backwards" if you want the light to sit a bit more flush with the CBI mounts.

The arc should point forward for the top of the light to sit about even with the tops of the mirrors. I did this the first time I mounted my Rigids, too. Of course, if you're mounting them high intentionally, like for an antenna bracket, that makes sense, too.

My build thread has a side shot to see them mounted lower.

You were 100% correct, I put the brackets on backwards. I think these were the 6th set of D series lights I have put on various vehicles, and the first time I think I have done that. This works out even better since they sit lower, I get more vision out of my windshield.

Thanks for looking out, good eye!

I picked a generic 5-ton come-along to get me by until I can afford a winch and mounts.

I ordered a set of X-Bull knockoff traction boards for the work truck. We have a set of orange Maxsa boards but I've never tried to mount them in the bed because they are glow in the dark and the truck isn't garaged. I bought the black traction boards because they will blend in with the black bedliner. I took the orange Maxsa boards for my truck because I lost one of mine last month. Now I have to extend my mounting bolts so 3 will fit on my rack. :)

$76 on eBay.

Come-alongs are slow, but they will get the job done and require no electricity, plus they are cheap, easily transported from vehicle to vehicle and can be used for other purposes. You can gang them up too - use one on each recovery hook or two separate vehicles for more pull. I still have my original one bought over 40 years ago.

Took care of the pinch welds. Used Gorilla tape as another member advised to do. Seems to work well so far. Time will tell, but I'm happy with it.

$275 seems steep for fender flares, has anyone used 3M film in this area?

Those flaps in front of the tires are actually for aero, supposed to help with the mpgs. Let me know if you notice a difference. I'm sure it's marginal at best.

I have a set of the front & rear OEM mudflaps for the truck and I was going to put them on today but realized that I have to drill one hole before the install of each flare and when I do I want to have some touch up paint for the hole I have to drill before installing them. :(

I finally got around to extending the wire harness for my hood mounted ditch lights. The harness wasn't long enough to tuck under the cowl and reach the passenger side light. I had it run against the firewall and ziptied to the AC lines which looked janky. I didn't wire loom or heat shrink large enought to fit 2 14ga wires so I twisted them together like we used to do for complicated car alarm installs. It came out nice and clean although you'll never see it under the cowl. :)

Before

After

I decided to mount the Arkon tablet arm to the transmission tunnel. I didn't feel like modifying the passenger seat bracket to try and make a mount. Once I get the bar shaped the way I want I will try to stiffen it up by adding another length of metal inside the loom and then pin it to point higher up on the console with a clamp. It's currently very sturdy but the tablet wobbles a lot if that make sense.

Thumbs up

@F8LZ71 that ^^ is a nice and clean install.

In the 2019s there is a blank plate between the switches so I was able to use this for the phone or tablet... because most of those switches are already in the touch screen, I do not need to use them. If I do, just pull the tablet off and easy to get to them... but I have not had the need so far.

I will add it to my wish list because I know I will need it in the future... to keep the phone on the center and the tablet on the Arkon arm... thank you!

I washed and waxed my truck today, then I decided to install the chrome door handles. Tomorrow I'm going to tackle the illuminated bowtie for my grill! Then I'm done, well hood strips, then I'm done!😀

Bullbar went up today at my local Truck store ...paid $50 cash and the guys in the shop jumped on and did this in like 30 mins. It's funny I was set on Rhino bars (which this store sells as well) and I was able to check them out VS these $109 Amazon ones (possible made in china). No difference in quality that I saw and all made from steel.

Very happy with the install. I think the Canyon looks better with the bullbars than the 'Rado as the front is more "squared" . Tomorrow the OEM chrome handles will go on and that's all the mods this year. Patiently waiting for summer to hit the trails/hiking spots with gear!!

Blacked out stock wheels and added a flowmaster super 44 muffler. Loving the black look on the wheels and the super 44 is a great fit for the 3.6L V6.
